Integrative Health Clinic Bodywork Services
I provide therapeutic massage, sports massage, craniosacral therapy, somatic touch, or a combination of modalities. Once we start working together, we’ll discuss your needs and complaints and I’ll design a therapeutic plan specifically tailored for you.
Over the years I have come to understand that the healing process is all about communication – good communication. Establishing good communication between the therapist and your body requires at least two sessions.
While it’s possible for someone to walk out of my office feeling pain free or feeling 100% after the first session, this does not usually mean that the root of the issue is resolved. My work targets underlying systems in your body, and so you can expect to feel continued improvement in the days and weeks after your sessions as your body has time to rest and integrate the changes that started in the office.
You should feel a good amount of improvement after the first session, and a great deal of improvement after the second session. Depending on your needs, I may want to see you weekly, for the first two sessions. After that, I always recommend timing your sessions between four to six weeks apart or even bi-monthly in order to reduce stress and assist you with checking in with your body’s needs (i.e. hydration, stress, pains, range of motion, etc…) which could help you to reduce your chances of getting sick, injured or emotionally drained by attending to your body’s needs before they become symptomatic.
I look forward to working with you and your body to help you reach your desired level of health and health goals.
Therapeutic massage is a type of massage tailored to target your specific needs by assisting with the reduction or alleviation of pain or stress by focusing on a specific problem. It can be performed fully clothed or utilizing oil or cream on the specific area, depending on the client’s preference. Unlike deep tissue massage, the goal of Therapeutic massage is to attend to specific areas of the body that cause problems, some examples include scar tissue buildup in the muscle, muscle spasms, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, TMJ, low back pain or ankle sprains, etc.
This modality is especially helpful for individuals seeking relief from pain or release of a body part that appears to be stuck, and a pain-free therapy to assist them in resolving their condition. Many people find themselves feeling tired or sleepy after a successful therapeutic massage session, because as the body begins to heal it requires rest in order to focus its energy on the area. Everyone can benefit from this type of massage. Allow one or two days of rest for your body to fully integrate the work and for you to feel the full benefits of this modality.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a non-invasive hands-on treatment for the entire body. Client remains fully clothed and practitioner utilizes a gentle and light touch. This therapy is used to support the flow of the cerebrospinal fluid, as well as the functions of the fascia and the nervous system. The goal is to assist the client’s body to achieve relaxation, healing, and its intended symmetry in order to allow the body to perform to its optimal capability. The changes noticed after this work are often subtle, but transformative. Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy stimulates your body’s innate healing capabilities, and thus it is beneficial to allow for time between each session in order to allow your body to integrate all of the changes it will be making.
Each one of us is unique, and therefore each session I provide is tailored to your body’s specific needs. Through Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy I have assisted some clients in reestablishing balance when they were unable to walk without help from someone else. New mothers and others suffering from vertigo have reported decreased symptoms after benefitting from sessions, and many have reported no longer feeling vertigo. Craniosacral therapy is appropriate for all ages; parents enjoy bringing their children and adolescents for craniosacral therapy as they are able to find relaxation from their stressful lives, and experience increased focus, attention, and overall well-being after sessions. Their children report enjoying the sessions as well and looking forward to their next appointment. New parents find that their infants benefit greatly from this modality, especially after complications during the birth process.
Give yourself or your family the treat of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and experience a level of support and relaxation that could help your body reach its maximum potential.

Somatic Touch is a body-centered therapeutic approach that is intended to assist the body to relieve symptoms of trauma by providing support for the autonomic nervous system to find regulation. This modality can be done in a seated position or laying down on a massage table, and client remains fully clothed. Sessions begin with the practitioner placing a hand under the client’s back and holding it there until the client’s body has achieved some regulation through support to the kidneys and adrenal glands, which helps the body to regulate stress hormones. With the client’s permission, the practitioner could also place hands on the back of the head, on the sternum, the low back, abdomen or feet. In addition to physical traumas, Somatic Touch can benefit those dealing with interpersonal traumas or attachment ruptures.
Somatic Touch is trauma-informed work that can be integrated into therapeutic massage work, or provided separately.
